Typically, hair growth starts within 2 to 4 months. Hair growth occurs in cycles, with each cycle starting a few days or weeks from the previous cycle.

The time a procedure will take will depend on the number of grafts being transplanted. Small sessions of up to 1,500 grafts can take close to 3-4 hours. Medium sessions of 1,500 to 3,000 grafts can take 4 to 6 hours and larger procedures of 3,000+ can take 6+ hours.

A second hair transplant procedure can be scheduled as early as 6 months after the previous procedure. Most patients will wait 1 year after their procedure for full growth of the previous transplant to confirm the results before starting the next.
